Mami Sue has been turning heads as a performer since a young age. Her first major performance was at the age of 10 performing on stage at the Okayama Symphony Hall in Japan.

Moving to New York in 2005, she went to Ballet Arts NYC and studied performing arts.

Mami returned to Japan in 2010, and in 2013 she began her acting career in Tokyo.

In addition to appearing on television shows like “Sanbiki No Ossan” (TV Tokyo), “Unbelievable”(Fuji TV), and doing corporate promotion work for major Japanese brands like Softbank, Epson, Mami was also the main actress in the award winning films, “Make my Mark” (Best feature film at Japan Indies Film Festival, Best Comedy Film at Canadian Cinematography Awards), “Sumire” (Best Film Noir at Indie Short Fest, USA) and “Coffee for Two” (Special Festival Mention at Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, India) just to name a few.

 

岡山県出身。幼少期から音楽とダンスの基礎を身につけ幼い頃からステージに立つ。

2005年ニューヨークに単身渡米。バレエアーツNYCでパフォーミングアーツを学ぶ。

2010年帰国し上京。俳優としてのキャリアを始める。

映画「Make My Mark」(ジャパン・インディーズ・フィルムフェスティバル最優秀長編映画賞、カナディアン・シネマトグラフィーアワーズ最優秀コメディ映画賞受賞)、短編映画「Coffee for two」 (Dada Saheb Phalke映画祭フェスティバル特別賞受賞)、「SUMIRE」(米国Indie Short Fest最優秀フィルム・ノワール賞受賞)、舞台「三島由紀夫 近代能楽集『葵上』」などで主要キャストを務めた他、ドラマ「三匹のおっさん」 ( テレビ東京)、奇跡体験アンビリーバボー「愛犬と出かける奇跡の大冒険」(フジテレビ)、エプソンのCF「プリンターは受験の見方」、ソフトバンク(インナーVP)「Pepper Meets Microsoft Azure未来の商品棚」篇などにも出演。
