Akihiro (Hiro) Akane is a singer-songwriter and composer from Sydney, Australia. Prior to moving to Japan from Vancouver, Canada, Hiro studied musical theatre vocals and orchestral composition in university. He is currently active in composing and arranging music for Materia Collective, acting in short indie films, and also working odd jobs as an independent freelance rock musician and voice talent. Hiro performed the role of Yoshinosuke, the rickshaw driver in The Peony Lantern and composed the original music for Antigone.

Akihiro (Hiro) Akane はオーストラリアのシドニー出身のシンガーソングライター兼作曲家。日本に移住する前はカナダのバンクーバーの大学にてミュージカル歌唱とオーケストラ曲の作曲を学ぶ。現在は、Materia Collective社への作曲や編曲した作品の提供、自主制作短編映画への出演、そしてフリーランスでロックミュージシャンと声優として活躍中。今作『牡丹燈籠』では人力車夫のヨシノスケを演じ、『アンティゴネー』ではオリジナル曲の作曲を担当した。
