Tatjana is a driven tap dancing artist who enjoys creating new rhythmical syncopations. Through her love of dance she realised how the expressive art form can promote a positive change and shape a community. Tatjana is trained in tap, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Arts at the University of Newcastle as she is passionate about social justice and promoting cultural awareness through her love of dance. She is also a recipient of the 2021 Ma and Morley scholarship at UON and a 2023 New Colombo Plan scholar.

Tatjana’s dance training began at HVT Studio of the Performing Arts under the tutelage of Kristy Mansfield. At the age of 6, she began competing in tap solos at eisteddfods, showcases, and international competitions where she was awarded numerous championships and scholarships. In 2017, she was a part of the Australian Dance Team, and competed in South Africa at the Commonwealth Dance Championships, receiving two gold medals. She also competed in Riesa, Germany at the World Tap Dance Championships. During the completion of her HSC in 2020, she was trained by former Tap Dog, Thomas, Egan, where she was a member of the Tap project for one year. Tatjana completed her secondary education at the Hunter School of the Performing Arts where she was a part of musicals, Starstruck performances, Hunter Dance Festival, Sharp Short Dance, showcases, and dance ensembles. In 2019 and 2020, Tatjana was the choreographer and member of the HSPA Tap ensemble where she began teaching high school students tap dance. Her ensemble performed in Parramatta at the Sharp Short Dance Festival and Hunter Dance Festival in 2019.

In 2015, Tatjana was cast in the children’s ensemble for the musical “Evita”. This experience provided her with a greater insight into how powerful the performing arts is as a platform to promote and appreciate other cultures. She is drawn to theatre because it empowers people to develop self-confidence and engage with learning through a collaborative process. Theatre allows her to connect with the audience and appreciate others who share a passion for storytelling. Through theatre, Tatjana is able to connect with her craft and enrich her confidence when performing.

タティアナは、新しいリズムのシンコペーションを創り出すことを楽しむ、意欲的なタップダンスアーティストです。ダンスへの愛を通して、表現芸術がいかにポジティブな変化を促し、コミュニティを形成することができるかを実感している。タップ、バレエ、ジャズ、ミュージカルシアター、リリカル、コンテンポラリー、ヒップホップのトレーニングを積んでいます。彼女は現在、ニューカッスル大学で法学/芸術学の学士号を取得し、社会正義と、ダンスへの愛を通して文化的認識を促進することに情熱を注いでいます。また、UONの2021年度Ma and Morley奨学生、2023年度New Colombo Plan奨学生でもある。

タティアナのダンストレーニングは、HVT Studio of the Performing ArtsでKristy Mansfieldの指導のもとで始まった。6歳でタップソロの競技を始め、アイステッドフォッド、ショーケース、国際大会に出場し、数々の優勝や奨学金を獲得しました。2017年にはオーストラリアのダンスチームの一員として、南アフリカで開催されたコモンウェルス・ダンス・チャンピオンシップに出場し、2つの金メダルを獲得しました。また、ドイツのリーサで開催された世界タップダンス選手権にも出場しました。2020年のHSC修了時には、元タップドッグのトーマス、イーガンからトレーニングを受け、1年間タッププロジェクトのメンバーとして活動しました。タティアナはHunter School of the Performing Artsで中等教育を修了し、ミュージカル、Starstruck公演、Hunter Dance Festival、Sharp Short Dance、ショーケース、ダンスアンサンブルに参加した。2019年と2020年、TatjanaはHSPA Tapアンサンブルの振付師とメンバーとして、高校生にタップダンスを教え始めました。彼女のアンサンブルは、2019年にSharp Short Dance FestivalとHunter Dance FestivalでParramattaで公演しました。

2015年、タティアナはミュージカル「Evita」の子供向けアンサンブルに出演しました。この経験により、舞台芸術が異文化を促進し、評価するためのプラットフォームとしていかに強力なものであるかということをより深く理解することができた。演劇に惹かれるのは、演劇が人々に自信をつけさせ、共同作業を通じて学習に取り組ませるからです。演劇は、観客とつながり、物語を語ることへの情熱を共有する人たちを評価することができます。演劇を通して、Tatjanaは自分の技に触れ、パフォーマンスをする際の自信を深めることができる。

タティアナは、2023年3月の「Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde」ショーケースのアンサンブルメンバーである。
