Born in Yokohama, Japan, Takuto Koide started classical piano training at the age of four. He naturally nurtured his interests in music in music for film, Japanese animation, and video game as well as classical, pop/rock music and Jazz, which he contributed to a university’s big band club to won a Japanese national contest for students.
In 2010, Takuto entered the Berklee College of Music to learn film scoring, and upon graduation he moved to Los Angeles to work for professional film music composers as an internship/assistant. Through this experience in real production environment, Takuto expanded his skill for audio production as well as compositional skill for film. Recently Takuto become a finalist of the Oticons Film Music Contest in 2016, and recent works include short CG animation, web promotional video, etc.
横浜出身の小出拓人は、４歳からピアノを始め、その後もクラシックだけでなくポップス、ロック、ジャズ、そしてなにより映画やアニメ・ゲームのサントラに常に強い興味を抱き続けていました。
日本のジャズビッグバンドコンテストの受賞などにピアニストとして貢献した後、2010にバークリー・カレッジ・オブ・ミュージックに入学し映画音楽を学びます。卒業後はロサンゼルスに移住し、現地で活躍する映画音楽作曲家のもとでインターンやアシスタントを勤め、この本場での経験が彼の映画音楽における技術や作曲術をいっそう豊かにする力となりました。最近ではイギリスのOticons Film Music Competitionにて決勝進出。直近の作品ではショートCGアニメやプロモーションビデオなどがあります。
